जब आप अपनी नई कल्पनाओं और इच्छाओं को महसूस करें तो किसी भी तरह की रुकावटों के बारे में चिंता करना छोड़ दें, क्योंकि आप पहले भी अपने मार्ग में आने वाली बड़ी-बड़ी रुकावटों का सामना करके अपनी मंजिल पर पहुंच चुके हो।

चिंता और आनंद क्या है?- किसी भी तरह की परेशानी अर्थात दुख को अपने मित्र के रूप में स्वीकार करना चाहिए। अगर आप यह सोचते हैं कि कोई कुछ भी करें मुझे ऊससे क्या? तो ऐसी सोच लेकर आप अपने जीवन में सिर्फ दुख ही प्राप्त कर सकते हैं और कुछ नहीं। अगर आप संबंधों में बने रहते हैं, तो इससे आपको थोड़ी परेशानी तो होगी लेकिन अगर आप इससे बाहर निकलते हैं तब आप अपने आपको ज्यादा तन्हा और अकेला महसूस करेंगे।।
अपने जीवन के पुराने दुख के पल को याद करें। इस बारे में कुछ करने के लिए अपने आपको परेशानी की गंभीरता को महसूस कराऐं। जब आप इस बारे में कुछ नहीं कर पाते तो आप भावुकता की दहलीज पर होते हैं। भावुकता के चरम बिन्दु को छूने के बाद आप परेशानियों का सामना करने में अपने आपको पूरी तरह समर्थ पाते हैं।
दुःख-दर्द के मायनों को बदल डालें। कई बार आप खुराक पर ध्यान देने की कोशिश करते हो, उससे भी बात नहीं बनती। भोजन को छोड़ नहीं सकते क्योंकि दिमाग ज्यादा समय तक यह सब बर्दाश्त नहीं कर सकता।
भूख से लड़ने की बजाय अपने दर्द की जांच करें। बहुत ज्यादा भोजन करने के बाद होने वाले हानिकारक परिणामों को याद करें। एक बार जब आपको यह महसूस हो जाएगा कि व्यायाम करना सुखदायक है तथा ज्यादा भोजन करना दुखदायक है, तब आपकी समझ में आएगा कि क्या सही है और क्या गलत?
कृपया ध्यान दें- ज्यादातर व्यक्ति अपने काम को, कल कर लूंगा या अभी तो टाईम में बाद में कर लूंगा, ऐसी आदत बनाकर टालने की कोशिश करते रहते हैं। लेकिन ऐसी आदत बाद में हमारी समस्याओं को सिर्फ बढ़ाने का ही काम करती है। अगर आप किसी काम को करने में देरी करते हैं तो अपने लिए और ज्यादा परेशानी ही पैदा करते हैं और कुछ नहीं।
अपने दिमाग में ऐसे चार कार्यों की सूची बना लें, जिन पर आपको आज काम करना है लेकिन आप उन्हें कल पर टालते जा रहे हैं? फिर निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों का उत्तर दें-
1.     मैंने यह काम क्यों नहीं खत्म किया? ऐसा करने से पिछली बार मैने किस तरह की परेशानियों का सामना किया था।
2.     इस तरह की नेगेटिव (नकारात्मक) सोच रखकर क्या पहले कभी मुझे आनंद प्राप्त हुआ है?
3.     अगर मैं अपनी नेगेटिव सोच को बदलता नहीं हूं तो मुझे आगे चलकर किस-किस परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ेगा?
4.     अगर मै इसी समय से अपने कार्यों को करना शुरू करता हूं तो इससे मुझे कितना लाभ होगा?
हम सभी के मन में एक उम्मीद की लहर जरूर रहती है कि एक दिन, जब हमारे पास धन-दौलत, गाड़ी-बंगला होगा, जब हमारे हर किसी से अच्छे संबंध होगें, जब हम पूरी तरह स्वस्थ और हष्ट-पुष्ट होंगे, जब हम दुनिया में नाम पाएंगे तो उस समय हम कितना ज्यादा खुश होंगे।
ये सभी लाभप्रद स्थितियां थोड़े समय की मेहमान होती हैं जो आपको हमेशा संतुष्ट प्रदान नहीं करा सकती हैं। यह आपकी मानसिक स्थिति है जो आपके मन को खुश रखती हैं, तो क्यों न हम इसी समय से खुश रहने की आदत डालें।
खुश रहने का तरीका- आप अपने आपको खुश कैसे रख सकते हैं? क्या इस समय आप इस स्थिति में हैं कि हर तरह की खुशी, आनन्द और प्रसन्नता महसूस कर सकें?
अपने दिमाग में उस घटना, उस पल को याद करने की कोशिश करें जब आपको लगा था कि मुझे इतनी खुशी आज तक नहीं मिली। उस पल का रेखाचित्र अपने मन-मस्तिष्क में बैठा लें और अपने उन हाव-भावों को चेहरे पर लाएं। अपनी सांस के आने और जाने की प्रक्रिया को वैसे ही रखें जैसी उस समय थी। अपनी नसों की गति को जांचें और अपनी शारीरिक क्रियाओं को भी पहले के समय अनुसार संचालित करें। अब देखें कि क्या आप उसी तरह को जोश और प्रसन्नता महसूस करें रहे हैं जैसी आपने खुशी के पलों में महसूस की थी? क्या ऐसा हो सकता है कि उन्ही खुशी भरे पलों को आप जब चाहों महसूस कर सकों?
अपना ध्यान केन्द्रित करके देखें, आप फौरन प्रसन्नता का अनुभव करेंगे। किसी भी अनुभव को कई तरीकों द्वारा महसूस किया जा सकता है। हमारे पूरे शरीर में उकसाहट, उत्तेजना और चपलता हर समय रहती है, बस उसे बाहर कैसे निकालना है यह सब हमारी सोच पर निर्भर करता है।

हमारा दिमाग कैसे काम करता है ?- 

कई बार क्या होता है कि आप जब अपने लिए कुछ नई चीज जैसे- घड़ी, किताब, पेन

असल में हमारे दिमाग में एक ऐसा भाग होता है जिसमें हमारे द्वारा याद की हुई ऐसी सूचनाएं और योजनाएं जमा रहती है जो हमारा अस्तित्व बनाए रखने के लिए जरूरी है। अगर  हमने अपनी योजनाओं को साफ रूप से परिभाषित नहीं किया है तो इसका मतलब यह कि हमने अपने सपनों को साकार करने के लिए अपने दिमाग को ठीक से कार्यबद्ध नहीं किया है।

अपने मन में सोचिए कि एक साल के अंदर आपने जिन-जिन कार्यों को करने के बारे में सोचा था, वह सारे आपने एक साल में पूरे कर लिए। अब देखिए कि ऐसा सोचकर आपको कैसा महसूस हो रहा है, आपको अपनी जिंदगी कैसी लग रही है? ये प्रश्न आपकी हर योजनाओं को सफल बनाने में आपकी मदद करेगा। आपको क्यों की जरूरत है तथा कैसे आपको अपने आप मिल जाएगा।
सबसे पहले आपको पूरे साल मे क्या-क्या करना है उसमें से चार योजनाओं को अपने दिमाग में बैठा लें। इसके बाद अपनी प्रतिबद्धता के स्तर पर और इन योजनाओं को पूरा करने के लिए आपको क्या-क्या कदम उठाने की जरूरत है, इस पर एक पैराग्राफ लिखें।

Such kinds of beneficial conditions are the guests for a little time which cannot provide satisfaction all the time. It is your mental condition which keeps your mind happy. Why should we not develop a habit of becoming happy?
